The thing about Motorhead is... I think they got a comp/best-of that got 5 stars, but none of the albums got more than 4.5. That happened alarmingly often, I thought for sure (insert artist here) would have a 5 star and it turned out they never topped 4.5. The Cure didn't get any 5 star albums either, which weirded me out.

And of all the artists to shaft, I shafted THE SMITHS... Hatful of Hollow counts as a fivestar since it's a comp with so much non-LP material. ''Singles'' also got 5 stars, but I don't think I should count it.

A big surprise for me was Lyle Lovett with TWO fivestars, I don't know much about this guy other than he boinked Julia Roberts and he's really ugly. I have to check him out.

Added-
Brotzmann, Peter- Machine Gun (can't believe I forgot that)
Brotzmann, Peter- 14 Love Poems
Paycheck, Johnny- Mr. Hag Told My Story
Paycheck, Johnny- Lovin' Machine
Paycheck, Johnny- She's All I Got
Coe, David Allen- Once Upon a Rhyme
Coe, David Allen- Invictus Means Unconquered

The latest reviewed 5 star album that I found was John Tavener- Veil of the Temple (2005). Pretty odd since that's contemporary classical.

Wow - I just notice that they don't have Born To Run as a five star album, but Born In The USA makes the list. Something's seriously fVcked up with AMG, hate to say it.

Edited...Born to Run IS five stars! An oversight on my part. I'm way totally gay.
