Well looks like Purdue is now, well for now, out of the #1 seed picture. And like I have predicted, Duke, that's right my Blue Devils are now projected to be a #1 seed. YES! But is that what I really want and should Duke fans want that as well? A #1 seed meets either a 8 or 9 seed in the second round which is dangerous. A #2 would be better IMO, but I will take it...

As for the rest...Kansas....loss....UK......loss....Purdue....loss. The top 3 lost and I love it. We are peaking at the right time right now. Who's tourney is it? Man I won;t know that until 2 weeks from today. UK will not get past the second round. Why? Lack of tournament experience. Yes they are good BUT their freshmen have 0 ticks in the big dance.

Will Kansas get to Indy? Nope because of their history of falling flat on their faces, just like UCLA has in the past 20 or so yrs (yeah '95 was a huge fluke. What have they done since?

K-State..I hear a lot of rumblings about this team. I for one have not seen them play so I cannot comment on them.

Purdue? W/O Hummel they are done. Period.

What about Mich St? They are looking good down the stretch. Could they make a crash to the Sweet 16 or even the Elite 8?

Not too sure about the rest. The following teams will make an impact though, in the Madness:

Duke--Yeah I am hugely biased here...
Villanova
Syracuse
Mich State

Those are the 4 that stand out to me. Of those 4, 'Nova is the scariest. The 'Cuse could make it to Indy but it depends on their draw. 'Nove though is fast and they are good. 2 qualiities that can make (or break) a team's run to the FF...But heck what do I know (not too much!)
