Well here is the current top 5:

1. Kansas
2. Kentucky
3. Purdue
4. Syracuse
5. Duke

Now IF any of the top 4 lose any more games AND if my beloved Blue Devils can win out and I mean win out the next 3 and the 3 in the ACC tourney and win that, then their argument is strong for a #1. BUT if the top 4 win out and I mean win out, then there is your 4 #1 seeds with Duke being the #1 2 seed.

See that is what I LOVE about this time of yr. ANyhting can happen in the course of a week. Look at Villanova. 2 straight losses? I think that is right. Now they are #7. I say they are out looking in. Here is the rest of the top 15:

6. Kansas State
7. Villanova
8. West Virginia
9. Ohio State
10. New Mexico
11. Georgetown
12. Pittsburgh
13. Brigham Young
14. Michigan State
15. Butler

I say MSU is out of the hunt for a 1 and possibly even a 2. G'Town is the team that is scary. They could win the Big East and jump up to a 2 real easy. Butler? Uh no. I say a 4 for them simply because they are from a mid-major and they never get any respect (mid-majors that is.)

K-State could sneak back into the mix but wouldn't they have to face Kansas again in thier tourney? Villanova needs to turn it around and quick otherwise they are fighting for a 2....
